Ramona is shy. It takes her a while to warm up to you. When she does she will offer a slightly crooked smile, like she’s still holding back. When the smile reaches her eyes, you know it! She never smiles because it’s expected. Her smiles are genuine and engaging, and you have to wait.

This art quilt is made using tiny bits of fabric, mainly cottons with a tulle (netting) cover. The piece is quilted using free motion machine stitching. The edges are finished with a facing, hand stitched to the back. An attached hanging sleeve enables the quilt to hang on the wall.
