"Moonrise" was selected to be included in the SAQA Global Exhibition Dusk to Dawn, which will premiere at the 2018 International Quilt Festival in Houston.

Artist Statement: Slowly, silently, the silvery moon rises, casting a perfect reflection in the rippling surface of the water below. The magic of the full moon transforms the night.

Techniques: fused raw-edge appliqué, folded-edge applique, machine pieced, machine-quilted, faced edges

Materials: cotton fabrics, fusible interfacing, poly-cotton thread, poly-sheen thread, felt batting
