Mid Century Modern

These three playful pieces are reminiscent of the shapes and colours of the Mid Century Modern movement.

Using commercial cottons and a bit of plastic I fused the shapes onto a raw edge appliqued background and added scribbly machine stitching to emphasis and outline the shapes.
