Terry Aske

"Aurora" was selected to be included in the SAQA Global Exhibition Dusk to Dawn, which will premiere at the 2018 International Quilt Festival in Houston.

Artist Statement: On a clear polar night, the Aurora appears, adding magic to the night, illuminating the cold dark skies with dancing, rippling curtains of color and light.

Techniques: machine pieced, machine-quilted (matchstick quilting with variegated poly-sheen thread in neon colors and shades of pink), faced edges.
